Service status

Transcriptium uses Supadata to retrieve public YouTube captions or automatically transcribe video audio with AI when captions are missing. Authorized audio uploads use Cloudflare Workers AI. Free allowances and rate limits apply. Private, paid, restricted videos and ongoing live streams are not supported. AI text should be reviewed against the source.

Acceptable use

You may use Transcriptium only with videos, audio, and text that you own or are authorized to process. You are responsible for complying with copyright, privacy, data-protection, contractual, and platform rules that apply to the source material.

Prohibited use

• Bypassing access controls, paywalls, privacy settings, region restrictions, or technical protections.
• Downloading or distributing copyrighted video without authorization.
• Processing confidential or private recordings without appropriate consent.
• Using the service for illegal, deceptive, abusive, or rights-infringing activity.
• Misrepresenting an automated transcript as perfectly accurate or as an official record.

Accuracy

Automated transcripts may contain omissions or mistakes. Verify names, numbers, quotations, and consequential claims against the original source before relying on or publishing them.

Third-party services

YouTube is a third-party service with its own terms. Transcriptium is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
