Current service status
The YouTube link tool sends the normalized public video URL to Supadata to retrieve existing captions or transcribe video audio with AI. Async processing uses a signed, short-lived receipt held in page memory to retrieve results; it is not an account or API key. Tracking parameters are removed before sending. The audio upload tool sends authorized files to Cloudflare Workers AI.
Transcription processing
When you explicitly confirm permission and submit an audio file, the deployed service sends it to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate text and timestamps. Transcriptium does not save the submitted audio in its own file storage. The service stores daily aggregate usage data and monthly YouTube request counts in Cloudflare D1, including UTC date, audio duration, estimated neuron usage, successful request count, and alert time. These aggregate records are removed after 90 days. Submitted audio, video URLs, and transcript text are not stored in our database.
Information collected
The current design does not include user accounts, advertising trackers, or payment processing. Cloudflare may process the submitted audio and standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp to operate, secure, and deliver the service.
Optional visitor analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It measures public page visits and successful transcription counts, using pseudonymous cookie identifiers and technical information such as browser, device, and referring website. We remove query strings and fragments from reported page URLs and report only the referring origin. Video URLs, audio, file names, transcript text, and form field values are not sent to analytics. Automatic form, site-search, outbound-click, and download measurement is disabled. Google Signals and advertising personalization are not enabled.
Cookies and local storage
We store your analytics choice and its date in local storage for up to 180 days. If you consent, Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 60 days without renewal. Submitted content is not stored in local storage. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies. You can change your choice through “Analytics preferences” in the footer; rejection stops future tracking and removes this site's Analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not automatically erase previously collected data.
Service providers
Cloudflare processes audio and technical request data; Supadata processes the public video URL, captions, and video audio for AI transcription; Google processes optional visitor analytics after consent. Their own Cloudflare privacy policy, Supadata privacy policy, and Google privacy policy describe their processing. This policy will be updated if accounts, payments, or additional providers are introduced.
